the United States. The film was supposed to be released on June 10, 2016, however it was postponed until June 30, 2017. After Travis Knight's resignation, the picture was pushed
back to December 18, 2020, and subsequently to March 5, 2021. Due to the COVID-19 pandemic, it was further postponed until October 8, 2021. The movie was subsequently pushed
back to July 16, 2021, before being rescheduled for February 11, 2022, and then the following week.
Uncharted was banned from release in Vietnam on March 12, 2022, due to "illegal photographs" of the nine-dash line. On March 18, the film was set to be released in Vietnamese theatres.
Following a request from the Philippine Department of Foreign Affairs, the Philippines' Movie and Television Review and Classification Board prohibited the distribution of Uncharted in the country
on April 27, citing scenes displaying the nine-dash line as "contrary to national interest."
