How did Mammootty and Parvati end up becoming involved in this project? Mammootty was in mind when Harshad composed this narrative. We began developing the screenplay once Mammootty agreed to the story.

We were having a conversation in a Kozhikode flat when the subject of the female character came up.
There were other choices before Parvathy’s name came up. We approached her, and she was interested in the job after hearing the scenario.
When we told Mammootty that Parvathy will play the female lead, he was OK with it. That’s it. There was no more drama or perplexity.
