Although Major has made its Hindi debut, Rest is not new to Hindi audiences. On Aditya Music’s YouTube channel, the Hindi dubbed version of Gudachari’s Intelligent Khiladi has received over 87 million views:
“I noticed another channel where it has 20 million views,” Shesh remarked, a smirk on his face. “People in Bihar, Tamil Nadu, and Karnataka who watched Evru online during the pandemic showed me a lot of affection.”

“Sobhita (Dhulipala, who plays a hostage at The Taj Mahal Palace hotel) and I took a look around the set, which cost two crores to build; I reminded her that Kshanam (a Telugu crime thriller released in 2016) cost roughly a crore.”
We worked on Goodachari on a budget of under five crores. Then there was Evaru (Telugu adaptation of the Spanish film Contratiempo or The Invisible Guest). We delivered the audiences polished films that appeared more than the production cost in all of these productions.”
“This is my best production so far; I’m not saying this out of arrogance, but based on the feedback of those who have seen the film,” says the crew, who had a few “secret screenings” across the country to show the movie to a select group of people.

In Major, Sandeep Unnikrishnan is honoured. It was dubbed in Malayalam and shot in Hindi and Telugu.
The film lends itself to being done in Hindi because it takes place in Mumbai amid the 26/11 terrorist strikes in 2008. Sandeep is from a Malayali family, hence the film is also dubbed in Malayalam.
Given the collaboration between A+S Productions, Mahesh Babu’s GMB Entertainment, and Sony Pictures, Major granted him and director Sashi Kiran Tikka a larger canvas and a higher budget.

Major is a film directed by Sashi Kiran Tikka and based on the biography of real-life hero Major Sandeep Unnikrishnan. Adivi Sesh, Saiee Manjrekar, and Sobhita Dhulipala star in the film, which also has Prakash Raj, Revathi, Murali Sharma, and others in supporting parts.
Sri Charan Pakala provided the music, while Vamsi Patchipulusu shot the film and Vinay Kumar Sirigineedi and Kodati Pavan Kalyan edited it.

forward to witnessing this film inspired by the life of an eternal heroic heart of our nation,” Prithviraj wrote on Twitter, releasing the Malayalam trailer.
The trailer is cut and presented from the perspective of Prakash Raj and Revathy, who play Sandeep Unnikrishnan’s parents. In the trailer, Prakash Raj reveals that his son was not afraid of death.
He goes on to claim that his son was willing to give up his life for his nation even though death was staring him in the face. The Telugu version of the trailer was posted by Mahesh Babu.
Major, directed by Sashi Kiran Tikka, was shot simultaneously in Hindi and Telugu. Murali Sharma, Sobhita Dhulipala, and Saiee Manjrekar also star.
